Truck Dispatcher Needed In Canada By Kundra Bros Transport
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our logistics team.
The Truck Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching drivers, managing delivery schedules, and communicating with clients and drivers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, the ability to solve problems quickly, and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple schedules and routes.

Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch drivers for deliveries and pickups based on location, load size, and customer needs.
Plan efficient routes and monitor driver progress to ensure on-time deliveries.
Communicate with drivers to provide updates, handle requests, and resolve any issues that may arise on the road.
Coordinate with customers to confirm delivery times, special instructions, and answer inquiries.
Track and record driver hours, routes, fuel usage, and other key metrics for reporting and compliance purposes.
Update load and delivery information in dispatch software, ensuring accurate and timely records.
Monitor weather conditions, traffic, and road closures to make adjustments to routes as necessary.
Address any delivery issues, delays, or breakdowns by arranging alternative solutions and coordinating with maintenance when needed.
Ensure that all deliveries comply with company policies and DOT regulations.
Collaborate with the logistics team and management to improve dispatch operations and efficiency.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or transportation is a plus.
Previous experience as a Truck Dispatcher or in a similar logistics/transportation role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of dispatching software and GPS systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
Familiarity with DOT regulations, driver hours of service, and safety protocols.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or evenings, if needed.
