Key Responsibilities: Working with the Tides

As a Farm Worker, your office is the shoreline and the deck of a boat. You will be responsible for the lifecycle of high-quality shellfish.

  • Bed Maintenance: Planting, maintaining, and harvesting clams and oysters using tubs, pipes, and longlines.

  • Marine Operations: Acting as a deckhand on dredge boats and operating farm vessels.

  • Equipment Handling: Safe operation of pallet jacks, forklifts, and specialized farm boats.

  • Environmental Resilience: Working effectively in inclement weather and the challenging conditions typical of tide beds.

  • Safety & Compliance: Maintaining meticulous logs and adhering to strict maritime and food safety guidelines.
