Responsibilities & Tasks

As a fruit farm worker, you will play a vital role in the production and harvest of high-quality apples. Key responsibilities include:

  • Harvesting: Picking row and orchard crops (primarily apples) at peak ripeness.

  • Crop Care: Cutting, planting, cultivating, and irrigating crops.

  • Orchard Management: Weeding and training trees to improve fruit quality and yield.

  • Field Work: Operating in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold/refrigerated environments.


Work Environment & Requirements

This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina and a positive attitude.

  • Setting: Outdoor, on-site work at a fruit and vegetable combination farm.

  • Conditions: Ability to work at heights, in dusty or wet environments, and under various temperature extremes.

  • Skills Needed: Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors (essential for fruit sorting).

  • Physicality: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods; handling heavy loads.
