In this role, you aren’t just processing numbers; you are a strategic business partner. You will define the quantitative metrics for success, helping our leadership team navigate the fast-evolving landscape of Kraken Pro, Futures, and our global Wallet ecosystem.

The Opportunity: Growth Analytics & Data Engineering

As a Data Analyst (Growth), you will own the end-to-end data lifecycle. From architecting robust pipelines to designing the experimentation infrastructure that powers our A/B testing, your work will directly impact Kraken’s global scaling efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Business Advising: Influence growth initiatives by translating complex datasets into actionable storytelling for executive leadership.

• Modern Data Stack Management: Dive into massive log files to build scalable data models using dbt (data build tool).

• ETL Pipeline Development: Lead cross-functional projects to build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow, Python, and modern frameworks.

• Experimentation & A/B Testing: Launch and optimize A/B testing systems to drive NTUs (New Trading Users) and improve performance marketing ROI.

• Data Visualization: Design intuitive dashboards that provide 360-degree visibility into business performance and product health.

Skills You Should “HODL” (Requirements)

We are looking for a mid-level professional who combines analytical rigor with a passion for the financial markets.

• Professional Experience: 3+ years in data analysis within the Financial Services or high-growth SaaS industry.

• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (specifically libraries like pandas, matplotlib, and plotly).

• Modeling & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with dbt for modeling marketing and product data, plus familiarity with workflow orchestration (Airflow).

• Growth Literacy: Familiarity with performance marketing KPIs such as CAC, LTV, and NTUs.

• Crypto Fluency: A deep interest in equities or crypto trading. You understand how financial markets function and are passionate about improving user experience through data.

• Academic Background: Degree in a high-rigor field (Computer Science, Economics, or Hard Sciences).
