Salary: Minimum $17.00/hour for 40 hours per week OR piecework (whichever is greater); overtime offered.

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Number of Positions: 60

Employment Conditions: Day, Night shifts available

Job Responsibilities

Detect diseases and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.

Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, and poultry.

Operate and maintain poultry-related machinery and equipment.

Follow food safety, security, and animal bio-security procedures.

Clean and disinfect the work site, including poultry-related equipment.

Job Requirements

Language: English proficiency required.

Education: Not required.

Experience: No prior experience

necessary.

Type of Farm Operations: Poultry – Chicken and Turkey catching.

Work Environment and Conditions

Work Location: Remote locations and various farm locations (transportation expenses covered by the employer).

Environment: Noisy and odorous.

Physical Demands: Fast-paced, physically demanding work requiring hand-eye coordination, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Transportation and Travel Information

Travel expenses paid by the employer.

Employee may need to travel to other farm locations at the employer’s expense.
