The Nahanni Traveller Hotel is looking for a versatile and welcoming Hotel Clerk to join our team in the heart of Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories.

Compensation & Employment Details

  • Salary: $19.00 hourly (32 to 40 hours per week).

  • Location: 10001 Marc Andre Ave, Fort Simpson, NT (On-site).

  • Status: Permanent, Full-time.

  • Start Date: As soon as possible.


Core Responsibilities: Guest Experience & Operations

As the face of the Nahanni Traveller Hotel, you will manage front-desk logistics and ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction.

  • Front Desk Management: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and manage a real-time inventory of reservations and vacancies.

  • Financial Processing: Handle guest departures, calculate charges, and process payments securely.

  • Guest Advocacy: Resolve complaints, assist guests with special needs, and provide detailed information on local facilities and services.

  • Administrative Support: Manage telephone calls, relay messages, and perform clerical duties such as filing and photocopying.

  • Facility Care: Follow emergency safety procedures and perform light housekeeping/cleaning duties to maintain a pristine environment.
