Job Responsibilities – What You’ll Do
Animal Care & Farm Operations
Handle, feed, and monitor the health of pigs Perform piglet care procedures, including clipping teeth, docking tails, castration, and administering medications Assist in boar semen collection for breeding programs
Farm Equipment & Supervision Operate and maintain automated feeding systems, manure handling, and pressure cleaning equipment Supervise 1-2 farm workers and ensure compliance with safety and biosecurity protocols
Production Management & Record Keeping Track feed inventory and livestock performance Maintain quality control, breeding logs, and animal health records
