Core Responsibilities: Crop & Machinery Management

As a key member of the Jura Farms team, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of grain and hay production.

  • Crop Operations: Expertly plant, cultivate, irrigate, fertilize, and spray crops to ensure high yields.

  • Harvesting Excellence: Lead harvesting efforts during peak seasons, ensuring efficiency and crop quality.

  • Machinery Maintenance: Operate and perform routine maintenance on specialized farm equipment, specifically haying equipment and grain machinery.

  • Bio-Security & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to farm safety and bio-security protocols to protect livestock and crop integrity.

  • General Duties: Perform essential daily farm tasks to keep the operation running smoothly.


Qualifications & Suitability

  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of practical experience in a similar farm setting.

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required—practical skill and reliability are prioritized.

  • Equipment Knowledge: Proficiency with haying equipment and general farm machinery is essential.

  • Personal Suitability: Must be a reliable team player capable of working long hours during the peak harvest season.
