Compensation & Seasonal Outlook

Salary: $17.60 per hour (aligned with the Niagara Region median wage).

Hours: 40 to 70 hours per week (Full-time, Seasonal).

Schedule: Dynamic shifts including early morning, day, evening, and weekends.

Core Responsibilities: From Cultivation to Market
As a critical part of our harvesting team, you will ensure our orchard fruit meets the highest retail standards.

Crop Management: Plant, cultivate, and manage irrigation systems for apple and orchard fruit crops.

Precision Harvesting: Execute selective harvesting techniques based on product maturity.

Quality Assurance (QA): Examine fruit for market readiness, quality, and grading standards.

Advanced Field Care: Apply specific agricultural techniques such as hoeing between rows and strategic weeding to ensure soil health.

Irrigation Maintenance: Assist in the setup and monitoring of field irrigation to optimize crop yield.
Requirements & Physical Proficiency
We are looking for hardworking team players. No degree or previous certificate is required—we will train the right candidates.

Work Environment: Primarily outdoors in a rural orchard setting; candidates must be comfortable working in hot, wet, or damp conditions.

Physical Demands: A fast-paced environment requiring heavy walking, standing for long periods, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
