Overview
West-View Motel is seeking a friendly, motivated, and organized Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our establishment. If you have excellent customer service skills and enjoy interacting with people, this role offers a rewarding opportunity in the hospitality industry. Training will be provided to ensure your success in the position.

Key Responsibilities
As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to all guests during their stay. Your duties will include:
Guest Registration and Reservation Management
- Greet and register arriving guests and assign rooms based on their preferences and availability.
- Handle group arrivals and departures efficiently to ensure smooth transitions.
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications as per guest requests.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of room vacancies, reservations, and assignments.
Customer Service Excellence
- Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services, and amenities to guests.
- Offer recommendations about local attractions, restaurants, and points of interest.
- Address guest concerns, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs to ensure an inclusive and comfortable stay.
Payment and Documentation
- Process check-outs by calculating charges, issuing invoices, and receiving payments.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including balance sheets and cash reports.
- Handle foreign currency exchange transactions for international guests.
Communication and Coordination
- Answer and relay telephone calls, messages, and guest inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate wake-up calls as requested by guests.
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
Light Housekeeping
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment.
