We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team.

 

The Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts.

Follow recipes and specifications to ensure consistency and quality in all products.

Measure and mix ingredients accurately, adjusting recipes as needed for special dietary requirements.

Monitor baking processes and temperatures to ensure optimal results.

Decorate and present baked goods attractively, following customer specifications and seasonal themes.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Inventory and order baking supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.

Requirements:

 

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or specialized training in baking is preferred.

Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of baked goods.

In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and ingredients.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Tasks

Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders

Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods

Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards

Operate machinery

Organize and maintain inventory

Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
