Job Overview:

Kent Farm Supplies Limited is seeking motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Farm Workers. This role is essential for maintaining the productivity of our farm operations. You will work directly under the supervision of farm managers and will be involved in various agricultural tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Crop Management:

Assist in the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of crops.

Monitor crop growth and health, identifying pests or diseases.

Help in irrigating and applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

Operate tractors and other farm machinery safely and efficiently.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.

Keep tools and machinery clean and in good working order.

Livestock Care (if applicable):

Assist in feeding, watering, and caring for livestock.

Maintain cleanliness of animal housing areas.

General Farm Maintenance:

Help maintain farm facilities, fences, and grounds.

Assist in seasonal tasks such as preparing for planting and post-harvest clean-up.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Participate in training sessions related to farm safety and equipment operation.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in agriculture or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Skills:

Basic mechanical skills for equipment operation and maintenance.

Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).

Flexibility to work weekends
