Job Overview: Farm Worker – Plant, Cultivate & Irrigate Crops

This is an on-site position with no remote work options available.

Responsibilities & Job Tasks

✔ Crop Planting, Cultivation & Irrigation

• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops in fields and greenhouses
• Mix and apply fertilizers for plant growth
• Weed fields and ensure crops are maintained properly

✔ Farm Maintenance & General Duties

• Clear fields of wood, stones, and debris
• Perform greenhouse cleaning and upkeep
• Assist in developing farm safety and bio-security procedures

✔ Harvesting & Packaging

• Perform hand harvesting of vegetables
• Assist in seed cutting and crop preparation
• Sort and pack produce based on quality and market standards

✔ Farm Equipment & Worker Supervision

• Operate and maintain farm machinery and irrigation systems
• Supervise general farm workers and harvesting labourers
• Hire and train new farm staff

Work Environment & Conditions

This job requires physical endurance and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in different farm conditions.
