Job Description

Protolight Farms Inc. is seeking Fruit Farm Workers to join our agricultural team in Leamington, ON. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the cultivation and harvesting of high-quality produce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain crops.
• Grade vegetables and fruits based on size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value.
• Conduct greenhouse cleaning and maintenance.
• Hand-harvest vegetables and fruit crops.
• Level earth to meet fine-grade specifications.
• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• Remove suckers and water sprouts manually.
• Tie and secure plants for growth support.
• Fertilize and spray crops for optimal yield.
• Harvest crops and inspect for quality.
• Report any signs of insect infestations or disease damage.
• Cut horticultural crops as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area.

Work Environment:

• Working at heights.
