About the Role

The Housekeeping Coordinator is a non-management, full-time position that serves as the operational backbone of daily housekeeping functions. You will act as the central liaison connecting the Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments — ensuring smooth room transitions, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining the impeccable St. Regis standard that guests expect.

Core Responsibilities

As Housekeeping Coordinator at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, your daily duties will include:

  • Acting as the primary departmental liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry for seamless room readiness
  • Preparing daily room availability reports, verifying room status, identifying discrepancies, and prioritizing cleaning schedules
  • Documenting and distributing work sheets and boards to housekeeping staff, including managing DND (Do Not Disturb) room priorities
  • Receiving and acknowledging guests in accordance with St. Regis brand standards, anticipating service needs with genuine care
  • Utilizing computer systems to enter and retrieve work-related information accurately
  • Protecting company proprietary information and assets while complying with all safety policies and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of related work experience preferred; no supervisory experience required

  • Language & Communication: Must speak and write in clear, professional English; English language proficiency is essential for this role
