Skuter Farms is currently seeking a disciplined and hardworking Grain Farm Worker for our operation in Dauphin, Manitoba. Compensation & Shift Structure

  • Salary: $20.59 hourly

  • Hours: 35 to 55 hours per week (Permanent, Full-time).

  • Overtime: Required during peak cycles.

  • Location: NW 8 26 19 W, Dauphin, MB (Rural setting).


Core Responsibilities: Wheat & Grain Operations

This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, managing both the technical and physical aspects of wheat and grain farming.

  • Machinery Operation: Operate, maintain, and repair essential farm machinery, buildings, and equipment using specialized hand tools.

  • Harvesting & Logistics: Execute crop harvesting and manage the loading, unloading, and transfer of farm produce and supplies.

  • Progress Reporting: Maintain accuracy through daily basic progress reports to ensure operational transparency.

  • Physical Execution: Handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.

  • Safety & Ethics: Maintain high values and ethics while working under pressure in a dusty, noisy, and fast-paced environment.


Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a farm environment.

  • Licensing: Must possess a valid driver’s license (public transportation is not available).

  • Security: Willingness to undergo a criminal record check.

  • Attributes: Organized, quick learner, and a reliable team player with high attention to detail.
