Responsibilities & Daily Tasks
This role is diverse and involves everything from field preparation to final quality checks. Your duties will include:

Crop Care: Planting, cultivating, weeding, and irrigating Ginseng and other miscellaneous crops.

Harvesting: Hand harvesting vegetables and seedlings; grading produce into marketable lots.

Field Maintenance: Clearing debris, wood, and stones; leveling earth to fine grade specifications.

Fertilization: Mixing and applying fertilizers and sprays to ensure crop health.

Technical Tasks: Operating and maintaining farm machinery and examining products for market readiness.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Working on a farm requires resilience and a “team player” attitude.

Location: Rural setting; work must be completed on-site (Vanessa, ON).

Weather: Outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, sun, wind).

Physicality: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for long periods.
